Datuk Seri Michael Yam is the managing director and CEO of Impetus Partnership, a strategic, corporate and project management advisory firm. Datuk Seri Michael’s sterling career spans 30 years in the construction, real estate and corporate sector. The last 12 years of this time (until 2008) he had helmed two different award winning public listed property companies as their ceo. He was closely involved in the development and management of hotels, resorts, shopping malls, golf estates, international schools and various mixed developments not only in malaysia but also in australia, the uk and south africa.

Upon the completion of his pre-tertiary education at the Royal Military College, Sg Besi, Michael furthered his studies in building and management studies at the University of Westminster, UK and qualified as a fellow of the chartered institute of building and also a fellow of the royal institution of chartered surveyors.

He is currently the chairman of InvestKL Corporation, an independent non executive director on the boards of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad, Standard Chartered Saadiq Berhad, Paramount Corporation Berhad and Government Statutory Board, Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and Malaysia property incorporated.

He also serves as a trustee of the Standard Chartered Foundation and is a director of the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce. He is the current president of the Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association of Malaysia and a member of the advisory board to the mayor and city of Kuala Lumpur. most recently, he was appointed by the government as a member of the NKEA steering committee for the transformation of greater Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley. Datuk Seri Michael was recipient of the prestigious “CEO of the year award” for the year 2002, a programme co-sponsored by business times and american express corporate services. He was also the director of Construction Labour Exchange Berhad (CLAB) until 2016.

In recognition of his services to the property industry and contribution to the community particularly the city of Kuala Lumpur, he was bestowed “Seri Mahkota Wilayah” by DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di Pertuan Agong on 1st february of 2011.
Mohamad Hafiz Kassim was appointed as Managing Director designate in April 2020. He has over 20 years of corporate experience, with vast expertise and knowledge in Real Estate, Capital Markets, Private Equity, Financial Services and Accounting. In this role, he will lead Kwasa Land’s strategy and execution as a master developer of Kwasa Damansara, a 2,300-acre mixed development as part of its vision to be a green, connected and inclusive township while continuing to head the Employees Provident Fund’s real estate investment team.

Hafiz began his career at Telekom Malaysia as an Investment Analyst in 1997 and prior to that, worked at PwC (Kuala Lumpur & London) and Daiwa Capital. He joined the EPF in 2008 and has led various investment departments including Private Markets, Capital Markets and Real Estate.

Currently, he is a Board Member of PLUS Malaysia, Dialog Group Berhad, QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd and SWM Environment Sdn. Bhd.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) degree, majoring in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
Datuk Mohd Fadzil Haji Mohd Khir, hails from Telok Air Tawar in Pulau Pinang and has been in government service since 1979.

He was a director general of the Jabatan Perancangan Bandar dan Desa for Peninsular Malaysia since 2005-2014. His prior appointments include Deputy Director of the Jabatan Perancangan Bandar dan Desa for Kedah (1979-1982), Deputy Director for Luar Bandar at Headquarters (1982-1983) and Deputy Director for the Region (1983-1984).

Datuk Mohd Fadzil graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1979 with a degree in Town and Regional Planning. He also earned a certificate in Development Planning in Urban Land and Policy Management from the University College of London, UK (1991) and a certificate in Planning II from the Japan International Cooperation Agency, Tokyo, Japan (1999).
Halim is a chartered accountant who spent more than 30 years working for multinational corporations and international consulting firms. He accumulated 18 years of experience working in the oil and gas industry – 6 years of which as a board member of caltex/chevron, responsible for financial management before engaging in the consulting business. Prior to his appointment as a board member of Caltex Malaysia En Halim served as Regional Financial Advisor for Caltex Petroleum Corporation Dallas, Texas overseeing investment viability of the corporation’s asian subsidiaries.

Halim also had an extensive experience in corporate recovery when he worked for Ernst & Whinney, London, United Kingdom in mid 1980’s . He was appointed as Managing Partner of the consulting division of Ernst & Young Malaysia from 1995. He later became the country advisor of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young consulting Malaysia when Cap Gemini of France merged with Ernst & Young consulting. In 2003, he with two partners took over the consulting business of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Malaysia through MBO and rebranded it as innovation associates, currently known as the IA Group, where he is currently the Chairman of the group.

Halim was also a council member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public accountants from 1994 to 2003.

Halim also served as a Board Member of Employees Provident Fund (KWSP) for four years from April 2009 until may 2013.

Halim is also an independent member of the board of the following companies : – Wah Seong Corporation Berhad, Takaful Ikhlas Sdn. Bhd., BNP Paribas Malaysia Berhad, IGB Reit Management Sdn. Bhd.
Datuk Dr. Roslan A. Ghaffar has over 28 years of experience in the areas of economics, finance and investment. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Usa, and obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Usa. He had served over 30 years in public service and has extensive experience in overseeing corporate organisations.

In 1984, Datuk Dr. Roslan was attached to University Putra Malaysia (UPM) and in the 1992-93 academic year, he was with the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Usa, as visiting professor. On various occasions while at UPM, he had also served as consultant to various international and national organisations which included the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Winrock International and the economic planning unit of the prime minister’s department.

In 1994, Datuk Dr. Roslan joined the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and was given the responsibility to develop the economic and investment research capability of the fund. With the given responsibility, he held the position of Director of Investment and Economic Research of EPF. He was promoted to the position of Senior Director in 1996 and in 2001 held the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer (investment) of the fund with the expanded responsibility of formulating and implementing investment strategies to meet the fund’s investment objectives until his retirement in 2007.

Datuk Dr Roslan is currently the Chairman of YFG Berhad and Box-Pak (Malaysia) Berhad, both are public listed companies. He is concurrently the Chairman of Kuala Lumpur Sentral Sdn Bhd a subsidiary of Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad and Straits International Education Group Sdn Bhd and its subsidiary companies. He also sits on the boards of Cagamas Berhad, and SYF Resources Berhad. Datuk Dr. Roslan is also an independent member of the board of MRCB-Quill Management Sdn Bhd, the manager of public listed MRCB-Quill Reit and the Chairman of the Rating Committee of Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad.
Dato’ Puasa bin Md Taib was appointed as a member of Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd’s Board of Directors on 1 october 2018.

Having been in the government service since 1982, he brings to the board in-depth knowledge and experience in the field which will be crucial in supporting the company’s township development. he was appointed as the Deputy Mayor of the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) from May 2007 until March 2015. he was then appointed as the President of the Sepang Municipal Council, a role he took on until May 2018.

His prior appointments include Deputy Director of the Johor State Immigration Department (1987-1989), Atache Immigration Officer for the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia (1989-1993), Administrative and Diplomatic Officer for the Prime Minister’s Office (1993-1996), Director for the Selangor State Sports Council (2001- 2002), and President of the Hulu Selangor District Council (2005-2006).

In recognition of his services towards the state of Selangor, he was bestowed with honorary titles, most recently that of ‘Dato Paduka Mahkota Selangor’ in 2015.

Dato’ Puasa graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan malaysia in 1982 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Chemistry).
En Mohd Auzir was appointed as a member of Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd’s board of directors on 1 august 2019, bringing his expertise and well-versed experience in real estate and private equity investments.

Auzir joined EPF in January 2010 as the head of Domestic and Regional Real Estate for the Employees Provident Fund (EPF). Previously, he was a manager for advisory at PWC Malaysia.

Currently, he sits on the board of Eco Horizon Sdn Bhd, Kwasa Europe S.A.R.L, Kwasa Europe-1 S.A.R.L, Kwasa-Goodman Industrial Trust, Yarra Park City Pty Ltd, Bandar Eco-Setia Sdn Bhd, and Panca Pesona Sdn Bhd.

Auzir graduated from Monash University with Bachelor of Business (Accounting) Degree. He is also a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ)

Iskandar Miza Ahmad was appointed as Senior General Manager of Business Development, Land & Planning department in May 2011. A graduate of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UITM), he obtained his Diploma in Estate Management in 1984 and Advanced Diploma in Estate Management in 1992.

Iskandar Miza started his career in 1984 with Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Kedah as Executive Officer in Land & Property Division. In 1992, he was appointed Assistant Director in Special Unit, Kulim Hi-Tech Industrial Park (KHTP) and later became Assistant Manager (Marketing) at Kulim Technology Park Corporation Sdn Bhd (KTPC). He also worked with Kejora Harta Bhd and Arab Malaysian Development Berhad as manager for Sales and Marketing. He joined Puncak Alam Housing Sdn Bhd in 1999 where he was in charge of Land and planning as well as property management. He joined Golden Hope properties Sdn Bhd in 2002 as Senior Manager.

Iskandar Miza was redeployed to Island & Peninsular Berhad as a result of a corporate restructuring exercise in 2004. He served with Perumahan Kinrara Bhd, a subsidiary of Island & Peninsular as Senior Manager until may 2007. He then joined Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad as Deputy General Manager beginning May 2007 until may 2011 when he joined Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd.
Mohd Radzman Othman was appointed as Senior General Manager of technical services on 1 december 2011. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Civil & Structural Engineering from University College Cardiff, Wales, UK and is a graduate member of Malaysian Institute of Engineers. He has vast experience in property development and construction with more than 20 years in senior management capacity.

Radzman began his career in 1984 with M.K Associates Sdn Bhd as a Project Engineer. He was then seconded to Tenaga Ehsan Sdn Bhd to oversee and revive projects, and subsequently appointed as General Manager for project operations in 1988.

In 1991, he joined Rahika Holdings Sdn Bhd as General Manager before moving back to MK Associates in 1992. he was later appointed as Chief Operating Officer at Land & General Bhd in 1995.

Prior to joining Kwasa Land he was Chief Executive Officer of Glenmarie Properties Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of DRB-Hicom Bhd.
Nor Hazqiah Che Idris was admitted into the Malaysian Bar in 1993 and began her professional career as a pioneer establishing the legal department in Malaysia’s largest retirement savings fund, the Employees Provident Fund (EPF). She was subsequently appointed head of legal.

Today, Nor Hazqiah serves EPF’s wholly-owned subsidiary Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd as the Senior General Manager, corporate services where she is tasked in areas focussing on legal, human resources and corporate communications.

Prior to this from 1993-2014, Nor Hazqiah was also a corporate secretary to the board of the EPF as well as the board committees. Her responsibilities included corporate legal and commercial laws, legal advisory and documentation, civil litigation, prosecution, execution, and human resource development and support.

Nor Hazqiah is an LLB (Hons) graduate from the International Islamic University.
Chaw Yoon Seong was appointed as General Manager, Finance and Administration on 1 February 2012. He is currently a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

He started his professional career with Moore Stephens in 2001 focusing on external audits in various industries including property development, construction, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, freight and forwarding, warehousing, trading and education establishment.

He later joined a telecommunications company as accountant from 2005 to 2006. He subsequently joined the internal audit department of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) specializing in finance and subsidiaries audit before joining Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd.
